  • Aidan Woods M.I.S.C.P.

    Aidan was the Head Physiotherapist with the Irish Olympic Team from 2010 to 2017. He was Head Physiotherapist at inaugural European Games in Baku 2015 and the London 2012 Games where Ireland had its most successful Olympics in 50 years. Aidan was also selected as physiotherapist with the Irish Olympic Teams for Beijing 2008 and Athens 2004.

    Aidan competed internationally for 10 years. He represented Ireland at World and European Championships competing for both Athletics Ireland and Triathlon Ireland.

    Aidan graduated from UCD in 1996 and the University of Queensland in 2001.

  • Tadhg O'Mahony M.I.S.C.P.

    Tadhg graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2006, and following this he spent 3 years working in Cork University Hospital. He then travelled to Australia and worked with a diversity of patients, ranging from elite sportspeople to busy city workers and people with chronic pain.

    In Australia, he also completed training as a Level 3 DMA Clinical Pilates therapist, and has had great success in using this cutting-edge treatment method to achieve the best outcomes for his patients here in Ireland.

    Tadhg is a keen rugby player having played for Leinster Schools. He is interested in lots of sports, and has provided match day physiotherapy services to UCD Rugby Club, Petersham RUFC in Sydney and the Lloyd McDermott National Indigenous Rugby Team in Australia.

  • James Garvan M.I.S.C.P.

    James graduated from University College Cork in 2012 with a B.Ed in Sports Studies and Physical Education. After a few years working both in Ireland and the UK in this field he then pursued a degree a Physiotherapy. In 2018 he then graduated from the BSc Physiotherapy programme at the Royal College of Surgeons

    Since graduation James has accumulated extensive experience both in public and private sectors. He completed all core rotations in Saint Vincent's University Hospital (MSK, orthopedic inpatients cardiorespiratory and neuro/stroke rehab) and developed an array of treatment techniques from his three years in the acute hospital environment.
    James has a significant interest in athletic development and sports rehabilitation.

    Outside of clinic time James enjoys playing Gaelic Football with Naobh Olafs GAA club.

  • Denise Galvin M.I.S.C.P.

    Denise Galvin has more than 20 years of experience as a Physiotherapist. Trained in UCD, Denise has practiced in South East Asia, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Ireland and has led physiotherapy services for multiple sports teams in soccer, tennis, Gaelic football as well as theatre groups and professional dancers.

    Denise is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist whose main area of specialty is orthopaedics with focused emphasis on treating sports injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. She has been working in out-patient settings mainly for the past 15 years, and prior to that mixed inpatient and outpatient settings. Denise is also a trained Dry Needling Practitioner. Denise is an experienced diagnostic expert with a personalized approach to therapy. She favors a holistic view when evaluating injury and therapeutic options.

  • Áine Rowe M.I.S.C.P.

    Áine graduated from Trinity College she initially worked in the public hospital system where she completed rotations in orthopaedics, care of the elderly, covid outpatient and cardiorespiratory.

    Additionally she has worked in private practise training where she began her further training in womens health, ranging from offering internal exams to prenatal pilates. She has also worked extensively in sport, in particular with rugby union teams. She has worked with the Leinster Senior Womens team for three seasons and is going into her second season as the club physio for Railway Union RFC. She has also travelled internationally for the last three seasons with Touch Rugby Ireland working initially as a junior physio for two seasons. This year she worked as the head physio for team Ireland at both the Touch Rugby World cup in Nottingham and at the Junior Touch European Championships in Vichy.

  • Musa Asif M.I.S.C.P.

    Introducing Musa Asif, DPT, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Gold Medalist from the University of Lahore. With a comprehensive skill set that includes certifications as a Strength and Conditioning Level-2 Coach, Dry Needling Practitioner, and Kinesio-Taping for Trigger Points Specialist. He is CORU registered and a proud member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.

    Musa's has extensive hands-on experience in managing musculoskeletal and sports injuries. At Pearse Physio, Musa approaches patient care with warmth and empathy, ensuring your comfort and well-being throughout your journey. Guiding you through tailored therapies and personalised training programmes, Musa is dedicated to supporting you, whether you're recovering from an injury or aiming to enhance your athletic performance.

  • Amna Sharif M.I.S.C.P.

    Amna is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with extensive hands-on experience. She graduated from The University of Lahore and has continued to grow her expertise with certifications as a Fitness Expert (Strength and Conditioning Level 1). Amna specialises in pain management, rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal injuries. My approach is multifaceted, I use techniques like Manual Therapy, Dry Needling, and Cupping Therapy to help my patients heal and feel their best.

    I believe in creating a supportive and empathetic healing environment, tailoring personalized treatment plans to achieve the best possible outcomes. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or looking to improve your physical well-being, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

  • Sandra Fernandez

    Certified in Pilates Mat from Federacion Espanola de Pilates y Tai Chi in Spain and Advanced Pilates Matwork from National Training Centre in Dublin.

    Has taught Pilates since 2013. Her work is currently focuses on Pilates for physical therapy clients and Pilates mat.

    After 2 years of self-practise, she decided to pursue a career in which she could pass on her passion of Pilates to others. Has experienced first-hand the positive impact that Pilates can have physically and emotionally. Has used the system to combat her own postural problems and is a proof that it works.

    Ciarán is the Practice Manager at Pearse Physio.

    Ciarán is the person who ensures the clinic runs smoothly. With a commitment to providing great care and service to our patients, he calmly handles all technical, administrative and account matters, from appointment scheduling through to the management of our fantastic team. His expertise ensures that both our clinicians and patients experience a hassle-free environment.
